The Berrien County Mathematics and Science Center, a program of the Berrien RESA, serves Berrien and Cass counties in southwest Michigan. The mission of the Berrien County Mathematics and Science Center is to enhance the quality of mathematics and science education for all area students.

The Center along with the BCISD Professional Development Consortium provides two consultants in the areas of mathematics and science. The Center particpates in the consortium that includes mathematics, science, health, language arts, fine arts, and social studies professional development and curriculum support.

The outreach consultants, along with other Center support persons, seek current information on new research and initiatives in mathematics and science education. Information and support services are provided to local districts. Further, the Center partners with the local Regional Educational Media Center (REMC XI) to provide resource materials.
